Review of a 12 Cup Coffeemaker From Gevalia

Are you one of those people who drink a substantial amount of coffee all of the time, yet you just want something that is basic and doesn't have a lot of special features when it comes to making a pot of coffee? If so, the 12 Cup Gevalia Coffeemaker may be what you may want. This reliable little coffeemaker seems to overcome a large amount of wear and tear, as we have been very pleased with it through the years.

Typically the reservoir container is pretty large and retains enough water when it is full. However, it can also be troublesome to fill up the water tank, considering that the opening is fairly small. Our previous coffeemaker had a significantly larger opening. Some have larger openings which make it more convenient to put water into. There is a water gauge on the side of the coffeemaker that makes it simple to observe how many servings of water are in the reservoir after it is filled up.

Running this Gevalia coffeemaker is very simple; merely program the coffeemaker and select the automatic option if you would like to get it brewing whenever you get up in the morning; or click the on and off switch if you need to make a pot of coffee immediately. For the normal person who doesn't brew 12 cups of coffee, but only wants to make a small pot, they will find out that they may need to put more water in it to just brew a small pot of coffee. This is bothersome because you may need to turn the Gevalia 12 cup coffeemaker off prior to adding more water. In the event you neglect to push the brew button, you may have to unplug the machine and wait a minute or two before it brews again. Regardless of these minor design imperfections, this 12 Gevalia coffeemaker will work very well and shows no signs of quitting since we have used it just about every day for the past three years that we have had it. In fact, Gevalia and other coffee shops will offer them for free when you purchase their coffee.
